Dr. Brandye Wilson-Manigat received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside and her medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in conjunction with Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.

In June 2009, Dr. Manigat completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. Throughout her training, Dr. Manigat has participated in many capacities to reach out to communities near and far, caring for and educating women about their health. She treats each patient with respect and dignity regardless of their economic or social background. She is able to help women lead healthy lives by having an open mind, and listening to their concerns, while addressing issues in a systematic, concise and solutions-oriented manner.

In addition to her passion for general Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Manigat is a knowledgeable resource on menopause and the perimenopausal transition. She believes during the many life transitions women experience, a vital piece is missing…Sex. She has created a program that addresses the needs of women with concerns regarding their sexual health, including low libido and pelvic pain. Through this program, women are empowered to connect with their passion, excitement and desire, so that they feel like a sexual goddess.

Dr. Manigat has been featured in Pasadena Magazine, and continues to be a valuable asset to the community as a Notable Expert Contributor on HealthTap, an interactive network that provides free online and mobile answers to health questions. Dr. Manigat has published articles in peer-review journals such as the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also in Sexuality, Reproduction and Menopause. She has also presented original research papers on a national level.
